contingency plans

Claire chose our prompt, "contingency plans," after we were asked about the possibility of inviting our Three readers and participants to share their photos along this line to support High Calling member David K. Wheeler in the release of his new book of poetry, Contingency Plans.

If you want to play along with our "Contingency Plans" prompt, just join in below.
We look forward to seeing (and sharing) "you" here!

Oh, and we wanted to let you know: keep your eyes open for something new. Kelly and Claire are launching a brand new project on Tuesday, a photography place inspired by the mission at The High Calling - we've spent most of the year planning this one, and you won't want to miss it!

(Please do include our button in any photo post you link - make sure you post your permalink! -
and leave us a comment so we know you're here!)

I love being next to miss Susan in the comments, and anywhere for that matter! Seems "contingency" evokes sign thoughts for the both of us too. ;-)

Three, this is my first time dipping toes into your lovely waters. Thank you.

Blessings.

These photos are completely awesome. I love the various interpretations of the concept. They touched me deeply, like poetry.

Claire,
I hope you are feeling much better now, and that the medicine has eliminated any harm to your system!
Yes, the Lord always has a backup plan! He does save us from ourselves, praise God.
The wheels are cranking for an idea for this post. Will be excited to join you here--as soon as I come up with something.

Blessings,
Janis

When all else fails, turn to the Solid Rock whose plans never fail.

Thanks for the challenge Claire, Kelly, and Sarah. I thought of having hubby or oldest hold up the garage door but neither would agree to the photo. As the garage door does not want to remotely go up and down--they are my contingency plan to exist and enter until it's fixed.

Hubby said the only Contingency Plan is the Lord. I went with it.

Always a funny story!

Blessings,
Janis

This was a good challenge. I tried new things with my camera. And it felt like "contingency plans." :)

Just stopped over to get this link. Glynn Young interviewed David and part of that interview will be featured at The High Calling this coming Friday. Wanted to make sure we link back to here!
